Excitement Builds for the 2024 Kia Sorento in Albuquerque, NM
The Kia Sorento is currently a top-rated crossover SUV all across the United States and other parts of the globe. It is the brand’s second-largest SUV, just below the full-size Kia Telluride and. Offering three rows of seating, the Sorento can fit up to seven passengers but in a slightly smaller version that is more practical for many families. The 2023 models are on display in dealerships, including ours, and are ready to drive off to new homes when their new owners find them. But what’s in store for the 2024 Kia Sorento in Albuquerque, NM?
A lot of speculation is floating around in cyberspace about the forthcoming model, with varying degrees of similarity. Although there’s been no official word from Kia headquarters, some exciting changes could be in store for the vehicle.
Camouflaged Prototype Recently Spotted
Although the company usually gives its vehicles a slightly updated appearance with a midcycle refresh, spy photos reveal the Sorento could be getting a more significant update for the new model year. With the entire Kia lineup looking sleeker than ever before, the Sorento is likely to follow suit. Under all the layers of covering, the 2024 prototypes appear to borrow styling elements from the Telluride, such as a more upright stance, vertically-aligned headlights, and a more prominent grille with lower air intake vents.
Things are harder to discern at the rear, but the taillights may change to an offset slant rather than the vertical position on the current model. Some sources are reporting there could also be a full-width light bar connecting the taillights, a beefier rear bumper, and new skid plates, but it’s difficult to confirm.
